Position Overview

As a Remote Tax Preparer, you will assist clients with tax preparation, document collection, and customer support using industry-leading tax software and virtual systems. No prior tax experience is required — we provide training and guidance to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual tax returns
• Communicate with clients regarding required tax documents
• Upload and organize client files securely
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and IRS regulations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Attend required training sessions and meetings
• Promote services through social media and networking

Requirements

Required

• Must obtain a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable internet connection and computer access
• Ability to follow compliance procedures and deadlines
• Self-motivated and professional attitude

Preferred

• Experience using tax preparation software
• Customer service or sales experience
• Interest in accounting, finance, or entrepreneurship

Training & Support

All preparers receive onboarding and tax preparation training through EZ FILE NOW systems and educational platforms. Training includes tax law basics, software navigation, compliance procedures, and client workflow management.

Preparers are also guided through onboarding requirements including PTIN registration, compliance documents, and IRS training modules.
